Application & Characteristics

Mist separator is mainly used for the purpose of air purification in wet environment, such as cold-rolling mill, flattener, wet cutting machine areas, and etc, and has the following characteristics:

1. Large flow rate treatment capability, maximum as 500000m3/h.

2. Absorbing oil mist and water mist in the air.

3. High purification efficiency, more than 99%, emission level reaches 10~15mg/Nm3, and 100% removing for size above 4μm.

4. Low resistance, pressure drop is 800~1500Pa.

5. The design can be customized according to actual situations.

Working Principle

The dusty air enters mist separator through inlet, and then uniformly passes through the primary strainer under the effect of air distribution plate. The primary strainer is made of stainless steel fiber mesh, and intercepts most oil mist and water mist. Washing sprayer is designed behind the metal mesh to provide periodical washing service so as to lower down the resistance. The secondary strainer is made of fiberglass or synthetic resin, and with its help, a satisfying emission will be achieved. At the bottom of mist separator, sewage pipe is designed to discharge the sewage periodically or based on the actual situation.
