Working Principle

Under the suction force of I.D. fan, the dusty air enters hopper (or middle housing) through inlet, and is diffused by baffle plate and filtered by filter bags, and then the filtered air enters upper housing and is exhausted through outlet at last. The dust cake on filter bags surface increases as filtration goes on, and the filter resistance increases accordingly. To maintain the filter resistance around 800~1500 Pa, it is necessary to clean away the attached dust cake on filter bags. The dust cleaning is conducted on pulse controller (or PLC) based on time set, which triggers pulse valves in sequence periodically. The compressed air inside air header is jet through pulse valves, and the filter bag expands instantly and dramatically, and also a counter direction force is provided to shake off the attached dust cake, which falls into the hopper, and then is discharged out of filter through discharge valve.

Because of the advantages of bag filter, it is widely applied in industries of power, building material, metallurgy, mining, and etc.
